Speaker: Steven G.Feifer
Steven G. Feifer, DEd, ABSNP is an internationally renowned speaker and author in the field of learning disabilities. The fundamental aim of this workshop will be to examine reading, writing, and math disorders from a brain based educational perspective. The focus will be to classify learning disorders into distinct categories based upon critical neurodevelopmental marker inherent within the field. The role of phonological processing, orthographic processing, working memory, visual-spatial functioning, language development, and executive functioning will be discussed as being crucial for effective learning skills to emerge.
